Nasirdeen Usman

A winner of the Sir Geoffrey Willouyby price, Dr. Usman participated in the team that reviewed the South African Mineral Law – 2—2 as well as in formulating the Environmental Regulatory regime of the Nigeria-Sao Tome and Principe JDZ in 2004.
Dr. Usman belongs to several professional institutes like the Energy Institute, London and the International bar Institute, IBA (Section of Energy and Natural Resources).
Called to the Nigerian Bar over 32 years ago, Dr. Usman also holds a master’s degree in Law and an MBA. He earned his Ph.D. in Natural Resources Law and Policy from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy, University of Dundee, UK.
